Our approach
HG currently uses only first-party technologies that are necessary to operate the website, protect accounts, remember your language and save your cookie-notice choice. We do not currently use analytics, advertising or social-media tracking cookies.
1. About this policy
A cookie is a small text file stored by your browser. Similar technologies, including local storage, can keep information in your browser without using a traditional cookie. In this policy, “cookies” includes these technologies where appropriate.
This policy applies to hestiaguarantor.com and HG account and application pages. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
2. Why we use necessary cookies
Necessary cookies support services you ask us to provide. They help us keep sign-in secure, maintain an account session, return you to the right page after authentication, remember your selected language and remember that you have seen our cookie notice.
These technologies do not build an advertising profile. Blocking them in your browser may prevent sign-in, language preferences or parts of an application journey from working correctly.

HG does not currently set analytics, performance, marketing or advertising cookies. If we introduce any technology that requires consent, we will update this policy and ask for your choice before using it.
4. Third-party services and links
HG uses Amazon Cognito to support account registration and authentication. The HG cookies listed above are set on our site to operate that secure process; authentication information is also exchanged securely with the service provider when you choose to register or sign in.
Our pages may link to external websites. Those websites decide which cookies they use and have their own notices. HG's cookie choice does not control cookies placed when you visit another website.
5. Your controls
You can delete or block cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers let you view stored cookies, delete individual cookies, block all cookies or block them for selected websites.
Because HG currently uses only necessary storage, the banner records an acknowledgement rather than asking you to opt into tracking. Deleting hestia_cookie_consent will make the notice appear again. Deleting hg_auth will sign you out, and blocking necessary cookies may stop requested features from working.
6. Changes and contact
We may update this policy when our website, service providers or legal obligations change. The date at the top shows the latest revision.
